Britney Spears Dresses Up As A Mermaid For Her Sons During Pool Day

Britney Spears just played mermaid mom to her sons Thursday while taking a break from her busy Las Vegas performance schedule.

As seen in her recent tweet, Britney Spears just donned a blue Mermaid tail while enjoying a day in the sun by the poolside with sons Sean Preston, 9, and Jayden James, 8.

It’s not known whether Britney took a swim in the pool while donning the fish suit, but her hair appears to be wet in the photo. Either way, given the look of glee on the kids’ faces, it looks like Britney’s boys were having a ball. And the kids have a lot to smile about recently, considering that they just went on a trip to the Chocolate Factory with their mother on Wednesday, as seen on the Instagram photo posted by Spears.

The 33-year-old Britney Spears, who’s been having a successful run in her Las Vegas residency at The Axis in Planet Hollywood, is mulling over the possibility of leaving Sin City behind. Britney recently reached a milestone in her Vegas stint after having concluded her 100th Piece of Me show on August 17. In an E! News exclusive, Spears said that she’s on the cusp of a major career decision.

“I’m not really sure. I haven’t made up my mind. I really love doing the show. It’s a lot, a lot of fun but I’m kind of torn right now. I don’t really know what I want to do.”

Busy as she is, family still trumps everything for Britney Spears, who shares parenting duties with ex-husband Kevin Federline. The “Hit Me Baby One More Time” hitmaker told People that their hectic schedules made the time she spent together with her sons in Hawaii during spring break even more special.

“With them being in school so much and with me being in Vegas, it’s hard for us to plan trips and to go to places, so this is a really big opportunity for me to be able to spend spring break with them in Hawaii. So it feels really special. And every day we go to the beach, we go to the most amazing restaurants, and we goof around – we have pillow fights – and it’s a lot, a lot of fun.”

And here’s something to get even more excited about: Britney Spears also told People that she was trying to get a tan in preparation for a new video. This confirms a recent Inquisitr report suggesting that a new Britney Spears album might be on the horizon.
