Calvin Harris, Taylor Swift’s Boyfriend, Exposed By Media Outlets

Calvin Harris may be dating one of America’s Sweethearts, but it looks like this DJ is not so sugary sweet himself. The EDM producer is being exposed for his bad boy ways by various media outlets.

The Daily Beast bluntly called Calvin Harris an “a**hole” in their exposé about the music maker. Harris is usually known for hits like “We Found Love” and “Sweet Nothing,” but now he’s famous for being Taylor Swift’s boyfriend. Harris, 31, has gotten on her fans’ good side by taking videos of her cat and hugging her at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards.

Let’s not forget the countless photos that the couple has already shared together on social media. The media, however, hasn’t forgotten about Calvin’s wild past. According to the Daily Beast report, Directioners started digging through some of Harris’ old social media comments in light of his brief Twitter feud with Zayn Malik.

In addition, a Taylor Swift fan created a Tumblr post about Calvin’s racist and misogynistic rants. The post reveals that Harris called a girl a “dumb f***ing b***h” at one of his shows when she asked him to play something original. Calvin also got the whole crowd to chant the words along with him before kicking her out, as seen in the YouTube video below.

Long before he started dating the good girl named Taylor Swift, Harris would share several posts on Instagram of his wild parties. Some of Harris’ photos would show the DJ throwing money at strippers and women making out with each other. Harris was also photographed with various groups of women. In the captions of his photos, he would also hint as to which woman he was planning to hook up with that night. Harris also used Twitter and Instagram to make fun of overweight women, X Factor UK star Susan Boyle, and a woman who refused to shave her body hair.

Calvin Harris notoriously dated British singer Rita Ora in 2013. The two broke up in June 2014 after dating for nearly a year. As of August 2014, Rita confirmed to Billboard that Calvin banned her from singing her new single “I Will Never Let You Down” at the Teen Choice Awards.

Prior to hooking up with Swift at the 2015 Brit Awards, Harris was seen relaxing on the beach with his last girlfriend of seven months, model Aarika Wolf. At the awards show where the dating rumors first began, Harris and Swift were photographed together. Several reports claimed that the couple spent the entire evening alone in the VIP room.

Before he fell hard for “Bad Blood” singer, Harris revealed that she was “not his type” during a Tinder game with a radio show. In that same interview, Harris also referred to Nicki Minaj as “that” after asking who she was. He also revealed that he was “a bit scared of that” after the radio host told him who she was.

As previously reported via the Inquisitr, Calvin has also gotten into his share of Twitter feuds over the past few years. In 2012, he bragged on a talk show about how he turned down a collaboration with Lady Gaga. And in 2011, he took to Twitter to complain about the set arrangements on Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream tour. Calvin ended up having his own bad blood long before Taylor Swift did!

The “Summer” DJ also admitted that he changed his name from Adam Wiles to Calvin Harris to appear more “racially ambiguous” to those who don’t know what he looks like.

“My first single was more of a soul track, and I thought Calvin Harris sounded a bit more racially ambiguous. I thought people might not know if I was black or not. After that, I was stuck with it.”

That’s not all that there is to know about the bad boy DJ. A previous OK! Magazine report claims that Calvin Harris is calling the shots in Taylor Swift’s personal life. The singer may call the shots when it comes to her music career, but sources are saying that Harris is controlling what she says on social media and “doesn’t want her bodyguards to be too good-looking.”

The source added that Taylor doesn’t mind that Calvin is taking all the control. She’s already “putty in his hands” and is allowing him to do whatever he wants.
