‘From Dusk Till Dawn’: Season 2 Trailer And Character Cards [Video]

With the Season 2 premiere of the TV adaptation of From Dusk Till Dawn less than a week away, here’s the latest trailer video and character card images for fans to sink their teeth into. We also have a behind-the-scenes video interview that explains culebras and their role in From Dusk Till Dawn.

According to Coming Soon, culebras, within the context of the From Dusk Till Dawn TV series, are “snake-like ancient creatures who survive by drinking human blood.” Season 2 of From Dusk Till Dawn will follow the same characters from Season 1, but the universe they exist in will expand. Flickering Myth lists the synopsis for Season 2 as follows.

“Season two of the show expands the universe across two borders from Mexico to Texas, and deepens and complicates the core relationships between the characters, while adding new faces and dynamics. Season Two begins with our characters in their separate worlds – Santánico (Eiza González) and Richie (Zane Holtz) are outside Houston, living like Bonnie and Clyde; Seth (D.J. Cotrona) and Kate (Madison Davenport) are scraping by in the South of the Border; Freddie Gonzalez (Jesse Garcia) is protecting his wife and young daughter in a Houston suburb: and Carlos Madrigal (Wilmer Valderrama) and Scott Fuller (Brandon Soo-Hoo) emerge from the Titty Twister, as changed men. They will all come together once again – this time facing off against an even bigger threat.”

Executive producer and showrunner Carlos Coto also explains culebras in greater detail in the video interview below. He describes them as part snake and part vampire. Their fangs are capable of folding down like a snake’s and they can consume people’s souls via drinking and absorbing their blood. He also points out that they are “super sexy.”

According to Crave Online, who showed the clip exclusively first, “Santanico shows off her monstrous side as they demand answers about Amancio Malvado (Esai Morales), the vampire Lord whom Santanico has vowed to destroy for enslaving her.”

From Dusk Till Dawn will premiere its second season on Tuesday August 25, 2015, on El Ray. As recently reported by the Inquisitr, Demi Lovato has joined the cast of From Dusk To Dawn alongside boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.
