WWE News: Backstage News On Undertaker And Brock Lesnar At ‘SummerSlam’

Big matches don’t always end with a clean finish. Thinking back over the last calendar year, how many pay-per-view main events ended without any interruptions or dirty moves? Some fans believe that non-clean finishes add to the story being portrayed. Others, more like the WWE purists, don’t like it unless it’s totally necessary.

Heels, in this instance Seth Rollins, had Kane and J&J Security doing his bidding for him. In a high-stakes match, one of them would come to the ring and interrupt the bout in some way. Most often, it was Kane who got in the middle of things. That’s where the following verbiage came from.

“That’s a nice match you’re having. It would be a shame if somebody interrupted it.”

This popular WWE meme calls out Kane, as he became infamous for interrupting matches nearly every week on WWE television. Kane’s trend of screwing matches stopped when Brock Lesnar broke Kane’s foot, thus giving the WWE Creative team a reason to write him off. He was filming a WWE Studios movie with Dolph Ziggler.

With Ziggler returning on WWE Raw, that means Kane is close to returning as well. Two men, with whom he’s closely linked, are headlining WWE SummerSlam. Dave Meltzer is now speculating that the Big Red Monster may be making a comeback at SummerSlam to do what he’s been doing for the last several months.

“Meltzer mentioned that Kane would come back to seek revenge on Brock ‘breaking’ his leg before he was written off WWE television to film an upcoming movie. He said that if Taker is going to play the heel role and get a victory over The Beast, this would be the way to book it.”

He does bring up a lot of great points about Kane and his inevitable return. Lesnar took him out, so the revenge factor is present. Undertaker is the indirect heel in this story, so Kane coming back as a heel makes even more sense. Lastly, Kane and Taker are brothers. Paul Heyman made several references towards the Undertaker in Kane’s face before he went to film the movie.

In an earlier report by the Inquisitr, the Undertaker is rumored to defeat Brock Lesnar at WWE’s SummerSlam on Sunday. Kane’s speculated interference should gain more traction by the day, although WWE’s megastar needs a victory himself. Undertaker’s last win was against Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31. Lesnar’s last victory came against Kofi Kingston at Beast in the East. This main event is truly unpredictable unless Kane shows up.
