Monty Brinson Returns To Instagram After Kim Richards Is Reportedly Placed On Psych Hold

Monty Brinson’s ex-wife, Kim Richards, was reportedly placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold last week, and on August 19, just hours after news broke of the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s hospitalization, Monty Brinson shared a post about “life and death” with his many fans and followers on Instagram.

“It’s night time, going to take a nice relaxing bath, light a few candles because tomorrow I have a big day ahead of me. And I have to apologize for not returning any phone calls or emails today but I will tomorrow or the next day… Well I guess it’s time for another quote: Life and Death. At some point we’re going to leave this world. Do I know when? Absolutely not. But in the mean time I feel great.”

As fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have seen on the show, Monty Brinson is currently battling cancer. Last year, while filming was underway on season five, Richards welcomed Monty Brinson, the father of her daughter Brooke, into her home so she could help care for him. Meanwhile, daughter Brooke married her now-husband Thayer Weiderhorn in a wedding at Kathy Hilton’s home in order to allow Monty Brinson to walk her down the aisle. Brooke also celebrated her marriage in a Mexico wedding months later, which Monty Brinson was unable to attend due to his health.

Although Monty Brinson was given just months to live last year, and weeks to live months ago, he is still alive and doing what he can to make the most of however much time he has left.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Monty Brinson was also on Instagram earlier this week, where he shared a message with fans defending his ex-wife against recent tabloid reports. In his post, which included a photo of himself and Richards, Monty Brinson told fans 90 percent of what they hear and see is not factual.

“Without going into detail 90 per-cent of what you read is completely false. But for her fans that have stayed with her through this roller coaster will see her very soon at what she’s done best all her life since the age of 4. I’m excited for her. And personally I would like to thank everyone who stood by her through this rough time. Remember everyone in life goes through a rough time one way or another. I always say know the facts before being judgmental.”

Monty Brinson has not yet addressed Richards’ recent hospitalization.
