Perrie Edwards seemed to be doing pretty well since her breakup with former One Direction member, Zayn Malik, just a few weeks ago. However, she had a bit of a meltdown on stage, which showed that she is still trying to deal with the whole thing. The Little Mix singer took her emotions to heart on Wednesday as she was singing the girl band’s new tune called “The End.” Edwards broke down in tears in the middle of the song while her best friends rallied around her for support.
People reported that the 22-year-old musician didn’t quite get the words out as she got choked up over the lyrics that seem to break her heart even more since Malik called off their engagement. “The End” is obviously written about a broken relationship that once seemed solid. It looks like it will take some time for Perrie to get over what happened between her and Zayn.

The British girl band was on stage celebrating at AOL in New York. It is their fourth anniversary and they were performing for their fans. Once she started crying, her devoted fans cried out, “We love you, Perrie!”
She also got a lot of love from Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson, and Jade Thirlwall as they huddled around Edwards. The girls have been there for her since she became single again. Nelson had tried to explain to their fans what was going on with Perrie.
“It’s been a long day, and we’ve had no sleep, so I think this is why this has happened. We’re just very emotional.”

It has got to be quite an emotional ride for Perrie Edwards. It seems that since Zayn has left One Direction, he has not only gone off on his own when it comes to his music, but also flying solo in the relationship department.
Malik has also gotten into a few Twitter scuffles lately. The most recent one was with Taylor Swift’s guy, Calvin Harris, as reported by the Inquisitr. The two men squabbled over how Taylor and Miley Cyrus feel about sharing their music through streaming services.
While her former fiancé has been somewhat feuding on Twitter and making his own music, Perrie Edwards has been out with her band promoting their new album, Black Magic. Little Mix was just on the Today show recently and they were amazing.
Fans have been commenting on how heart wrenching her breakdown on stage was, but it was probably just one of those emotional moments that hit her at just the right time. She has got a great career ahead of her and also some good friends who have supported her through this.
