Joseph Gordon-Levitt Welcomes Son With Wife Tasha

A big congratulations goes out to actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt. To the shock of many, Us Weekly has reported that he welcomed a son with wife Tasha McCauley.

Gordon-Levitt’s rep confirmed the exciting news about the new parents, while an insider close to the couple stated, “Everyone’s happy and healthy.”

Just like their marriage, the pair decided to keep their pregnancy under wraps. As the Inquisitr reported, Joseph Gordon-Levitt married his then-girlfriend a year after they started dating. The couple, who were introduced by mutual friends, wed in 2014 of December, at their home.

According to a source, “She’s very intellectual and a creator, which he finds very attractive. It’s a really healthy and normal relationship.”

It’s not surprising that Tasha is intelligent after finding out what she does for work. Gordon-Levitt’s wife is a co-founder of a robotics company called Fellow Robots. The source said, “She’s beautiful and smart. Really one of those full package girls.”

Gordon-Levitt is also a creator, as well. He runs and owns his own collaborative media platform, called HitRecord. The site allows creative individuals to collaborate in all forms of artistic expression. The site even launched a show on the network, Pivot. Currently, you can check out Season 1 on Netflix. Season 2 just aired its season finale back in July.

Prior to the couple getting hitched and having a child together, Gordon-Levitt opened up to Howard Stern on what he thinks about relationships and commitment while promoting Don Jon. Back in 2013, he said he was “unsure” if marriage was in the future.

At the time, the Inception actor said, “I think that I could partner up with somebody — I don’t know who that somebody is — I could partner up with a woman and commit to we’re going to raise a family and that’s a project we’re going to commit to for 20-something years.”

When asked about monogamy, he said, “I like to not be too committed to any one future that’s really far away, necessarily, unless there’s a reason, which is why I’m saying if you’re gonna raise a family… I can make that commitment.”

While that was the most he has ever said about his own personal life, Gordon-Levitt didn’t name Tasha by name, but by then, they were already an item.
