Robert Pattinson And FKA Twigs Push Back Wedding, Insiders Reveal The Real Reasons

Despite a delay in their wedding plans and the date of their nuptials being pushed back, Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are not having second thoughts about their union. In fact, according to Hollywood Life, everything is still going great for the couple, and their wedding is very much on.

“Things are going very well and they are both very happy with each other,” an inside sourced revealed to the outlet. “Don’t take this news as a bad thing — they just want to get it right because they only want to do it once. FKA wants it to be perfect and she keeps going back and forth on ideas. She definitely wants it to be amazing, so she keeps thinking of things to add to the festivities!”

Twigs and Pattinson have been engaged since early 2015 after being together for six months. Although they have been quiet about their plans to wed, it was expected that a wedding would be soon in coming.

With that in mind, the source went on to reveal that the Twilight alum and British singer are in no hurry to exchange vows. “Rob is in no rush. He knows that it is going to happen and he’s happy with that. He is fine with the delay because he’s happy with their relationship. They spend time apart, but they make sure to see each other often.”

Meanwhile, according to People, another source close to the couple stated that they have decided to move back their wedding “until autumn at the earliest,” adding that Twigs is shifting between a relatively quiet wedding and an elaborate event.

“She talks about it keeping as real and low-key and then wants an elaborate glamorous Baroque affair,” the source stated. “She was even talking at one stage about having a masked ball.”

With Twigs’ mind constantly changing, it still isn’t known how much the high-profile couple will decide to publicize their plans. Even still, the source also stated that a solid date for the wedding has yet to materialize.

“It will now be bigger but how big, nobody’s quite sure at this moment in time,” the insider explained in the interview. “There’s no fixed [wedding] date but will probably be late in the year.”

Until an official wedding date is announced, fans can rest assured knowing that Pattinson and Twigs aren’t heading for a split, and the delays are just a result of them making sure everything goes as planned.
