Game Of Thrones: Daenerys Targaryen And Daario Naharis Are Dating In Real Life… Sort Of

Game of Thrones hasn’t just been a show of who will die next. While you can’t argue with the carnage of blood on-screen, you also can’t argue with the fact that Game of Thrones is ripe with its fair share of steamy relationships. It seems that the relationship of Daenerys Targaryen and Daario Naharis has spilled over into real life… sort of.

Daario Naharis is played in Game of Thrones by Michael Husiman, and Daenerys Targaryen is played by Emilia Clarke most of the time. As much as most would like to think of the two Hollywood stars together in real life, it is the two others that play these Game of Thrones‘ characters the other times that have found love.

Ignacio Blanco is known from time to time to play as Michiel Husiman’s stand in as Daario Naharis. Emilia Clarke’s body double Rosie Mac has been known to step in to play Daenerys Targaryen from time to time. It is not surprising that the two usually are involved in love scenes when acting as the famous Game of Thrones couple. In fact, a source close to the couple told The Sun that occasionally the couple will joke that they “wear more clothes on dates than they do at work.”

Blanco recently opened up about his relationship with Mac to MailOnline.

“Rosie and I met on set. Me doing my part as Daario’s double and Rosie doing her part as Daenerys. Since then we’ve become very close. Things just kept escalating. We are so committed to the show that we followed the steps of Michiel’s and Emilia’s characters.”

While Blanco has been quick to talk with news sites about his relationship with Mac, Mac hasn’t been the type to kiss and tell. However, Instagram pictures have all but confirmed the two are more than just actors playing the part on one of the most popular shows on cable.

It’s hard to tell how long that Mac and Blanco will continue with their stand in roles of Daenerys Targaryen and Daario Naharis. Game of Thrones has been nothing but unpredictable when it comes to characters and relationships meeting an untimely demise. However, the real life relationship between the two seems to be alive and well for the foreseeable future.
