Ashton Irwin Talks About Louis Tomlinson’s Baby, Love For Bryana Holly [Video]

Ashton Irwin, Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings, and Calum Hood will not be starting their own Babysitters Club in the near future, so Louis Tomlinson needs to look elsewhere for his childcare needs.

As most One Direction fans have heard but don’t want to believe, Louis Tomlinson is expecting his first child with a stylist named Briana Jungwirth. Because the members of 1D and 5 Seconds of Summer are old tour mates and pretty good pals, ETonline recently decided to ask Ashton Irwin and his band mates whether they’d be interested in babysitting for Louis when his baby arrives early next year. As the Inquisitr previously reported, the guys were a bit reluctant to say much about the 1D baby the last time they were asked about Louis’ shocking news. However, this time they had plenty to say about Tomlinson’s tot.

Ashton Irwin decided that honesty was the best policy when he was asked whether he would babysit Louis Tomlinson’s child. He revealed that he probably wouldn’t do it, but it’s not because he hates babies — he simply thinks that he and the other members of 5 Seconds of Summer would be horrible influences on a child.

“I don’t think he should ever let us babysit,” Ashton said.

Michael Clifford agreed that he would be a bad babysitter, and Luke Hemmings hinted that any kid in 5SOS’ care would quickly learn to crack penis jokes.

“We called the stage we’re playing on tonight, ‘Shaped like a penis,'” Luke joked. “I don’t know if you want us.”

Calum Hood also weighed in by pointing out that he and his band mates are so immature that they need to be babysat themselves. You can check out the guys’ silly interview below.

Ashton Irwin obviously thought that he was being pretty funny by quipping that he has six or seven kids of his own out there somewhere, but he better be careful about making baby jokes — Louis Tomlinson recently found out that they can come back to haunt you. According to Metro, Louis told Directioners that he was going to be a dad as part of an April Fools’ Day prank back in 2012. Fast forward to today, and it’s no wonder that some of his fans have had such a hard time believing the reports about Briana Jungwirth’s pregnancy.

Interestingly, Ashton is currently romancing a girl whose first name is eerily similar to that of Louis’ baby mama. According to J-14, the drummer is rumored to be dating model Bryana Holly. During an interview with Rolling Stone, he even hinted that the beautiful blonde is his musical muse.

“The place itself [Los Angeles] feels really magical… I even met a girl over there and fell in love. Things like that contributed to making this album. It felt unreal, and before we knew it, we’d recorded everything and it was time to go on tour.”

According to Rolling Stone, the 5 Seconds of Summer song “She’s Kinda Hot” was inspired by Ashton Irwin’s story about “exploring the desert” with Bryana Holly. She must be used to putting up with Ashton’s antics by now, so perhaps Louis Tomlinson should consider asking her to babysit his little bambino instead of allowing Ashton and his mates to corrupt the kid.
