Leah Messer Admits To Making ‘A Lot Of Mistakes’

Leah Messer posted a couple of memes on Facebook over the weekend. As she’s targeted with “bad mom” claims for her behavior on Teen Mom 2 Season 6, the mother of three posted messages to fans about making a lot of mistakes, and not giving up.

In Leah Messer’s first meme, a message read, “I’m not a perfect person. I make a lot of mistakes. But I really appreciate those people who stay with me after knowing how I really am.”

The second said, “Everyday is a hustle! Do I get tired….Yes. Do I give up….No.”

Leah Messer has been seen struggling with her duties as a mom throughout the sixth season of Teen Mom 2. Although the reality star doesn’t have a full-time job, she appears to be having trouble tending to her responsibilities. According to her ex-husband, Corey Simms, Leah Messer often fails to get their twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, 5, to school on time, and at times, she doesn’t get them there at all.

Even Messer’s second ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, has complained to her about her failure to do what is expected of her, including getting herself and her children to bed at a reasonable hour, and keeping their vehicle clean.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Leah Messer is currently in a custody battle with Simms over their twins, and while her on-screen behavior has certainly raised some red flags, it can’t be used against her. Earlier this month, The Ashley’s Reality Roundup explained why Simms can’t use MTV footage against Leah Messer.

“Legally, [Corey Simms] can’t use the footage from the show against [Leah Messer], no matter how damning. Nothing in the show can be used in court by parties that have signed contracts. The reason is because in the contracts it says that MTV has the right to portray things however they want. The contracts state that the show may not depict a whole truth, so when [Corey Simms] tried [to use the episodes] as evidence in court, the judge said no right off the bat.”

Meanwhile, Leah Messer and Calvert reportedly settled their own custody issues in court in June, when their divorce was finalized.

Leah Messer is currently living with her boyfriend, T.R. Dues, in Charleston, West Virginia, with her three girls, as well as Dues’ two sons.
