‘Undateable’ Star Miscarriage: Eva Amurri Martino Loses Baby At Nine Weeks, Shares Story

Undateable star Eva Amurri Martino suffered a miscarriage and decided to share her heartbreaking story with the world. The actress and her husband were expecting their second child together, but Eva lost the baby when she was nine weeks pregnant. According to Access Hollywood, Martino wrote a lengthy blog post about her recent miscarriage in hopes of finding comfort in knowing she’s not alone, and to try to let other people know that they aren’t alone either.

“It’s with a lot of heartache that I tell you Kyle, Marlowe, and I have some sad family news to share. I am sharing in the hopes that we can be a light for people going through similar circumstances, and to remind myself and others that there is no shame in voicing our heartbreaks and allowing others to comfort us,” Eva wrote in a post titled Little Angel.

The Undateable star’s miscarriage was captured in one photo of Eva and Kyle’s daughter. The original photo was a happy birth announcement that showed Marlowe sitting in the sand with the words “Big Sis” written above her. After losing her baby, Eva posted the same photo of Marlowe, but this time the waves had washed away part of the words. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the photo is quite telling, and it is very emotional.

Eva Amurri Martino also offered her own words of encouragement, as she told the world that her feelings of heartache are only being calmed by her realization of the good things in her life — including her loving husband, and her beautiful, healthy daughter.

“To anybody enduring similar heartache, I will tell you what I’m feeling and processing as a result of this loss: A lot of confusion, some anger, deep sadness, and also an immense amount of gratitude. I have realized in the past forty-eight hours how incredibly grateful I am for the magic that I have in my life.”

The Undateable star’s miscarriage story has caused an outpouring of support from complete strangers, and the comments have touched the Martino family. Although it’s not something fun to talk about, it is something very real, and many appreciate Eva’s decision to open up about something so personal, and so devastating.

It is unknown if Eva and Kyle are hoping to have more children in the future, but everyone wishes them the best either way.
