Harry Styles Reaches Out To Perrie Edwards With Sweet Gesture
One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles has a reputation as something of a ladies man. It seems that perhaps Harry’s caring side is one of the things that make him such a big hit with the girls. If anyone understands what it is like to have every aspect of your love-life scrutinized by the media it is Styles. Rumors about who Harry is dating are never far from the gossip columns, and Styles can’t even go shopping with a female friend without starting a new round of speculation about his romances.
According to Unreality TV Harry was as surprised as everyone else when he found out that former band-mate Zayn Malik had dumped his fiance, Little Mix star Perrie Edwards. Apparently Harry was less than impressed that his former mate had broken up with Perrie by text message on the night that she was out celebrating with her Little Mix band-mates after topping the UK charts with new single “Black Magic.”
Harry has reportedly always been fond of Perrie and immediately reached out to check that she was OK and to offer her his support.
According to Sugarscape Harry has been pretty worried about Perrie since it all kicked off, and he’s the only member of One Direction who’s reached out to see how she’s doing. It seems that a source told the UK tabloid the Daily Star that Harry understands how Perrie is feeling after being dumped in such a cruel way.
“It’s something Harry really understands from having his heart broken by his first girlfriend when he was 14.”
“His heart immediately went out to Perrie and he called her up straight away. He’s very spontaneous that way. It meant a lot to her.”
This news might be a surprise to some 1D fans because there have been rumors in the past that Perrie wasn’t very keen on Styles and Harry was not especially close to Malik either.
In other One Direction news Harry and his pals Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan will have been ecstatic after bagging no less than eight gongs at last nights Teen Choice awards. The awards will be especially satisfying in a week where former X-Factor judge Louis Walsh added to speculation that One Direction will split after their current tour finishes and their fifth album is released.
According to Express and Star Harry thanked fans for the awards and for their continued support saying, “we just want to say a massive thank you for these awards you have given us this year, we should probably begin to surf. We can’t swim!”
