Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have trained baby Israel well. He’s become a pro at posing for pictures, and the social media star’s expertise really shows when he’s forced to share the spotlight with another baby.
According to People, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard recently took a short break from their long-term mission trip in El Salvador to attend the wedding of Bringing Up Bates stars Michael Bates and Brandon Keilen. The ceremony took place in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Saturday, and it looks like Jill really enjoyed getting to catch up with Erin Bates. Unfortunately, Erin and Chad Paine’s son hasn’t learned to hold still for photos like Israel has, and it doesn’t look like Carson and Izzy are BFFs just yet.
Erin shared the Instagram photo below that shows little Carson throwing a bit of a temper tantrum while posing for a photo with Jill and Israel. As you can see, Carson got dangerously close to smacking poor Israel in the face. However, the totally chill child formerly known as Baby Dilly kept his cool while Carson flailed his arms around.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jill Duggar didn’t just return to the States to attend the Bates wedding. On Thursday, she and her younger sister Jessa were spotted in New York City. The girls were in town to film a segment for their TLC’s upcoming documentary about child abuse, Breaking the Silence. After Jill and Jessa fulfilled their obligation to TLC by attending a seminar about molestation, they spent their remaining time in the big city having a good time. Jill and her family visited the Hershey Store in Times Square, and Derick Dillard provided photographic evidence that his adorable son has quite the sweet tooth.
According to Jill and Derick, Israel has quite the fan base back in El Salvador, so it’s no wonder that he’s smiling so big in the photo above — he has to be happy that he’s been getting so much love. In a post on the Dillard Family website, Derick Dillard wrote about Israel’s ever-growing popularity.
“Israel seems to be adjusting to the new climate, culture, food (via mom’s milk), and language faster than Jill and I are. In fact, he has been the talk of the town. Everywhere we go, people here about and want to see and hold the, ‘big blue-eyed, white baby’ LOL.”
As you can see, Israel also has plenty of fans who couldn’t wait to see him after he returned to America.
Do you think it will be hard for Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard to return to Central America after spending time with their families?
