Kylie ‘Borrows’ Kris Jenner’s Vintage Swimsuit [Photos]

Kylie Jenner’s style is usually all her own, but it looks like she took a page out of her mom, Kris Jenner’s, book. The 18-year-old was snapped by paparazzi in a hot pink “Body Glove” high-cut swimsuit that’s very similar to her mom’s bathing suit from the 80s.

Even Kris Jenner noticed that Kylie’s hot pink swimsuit looked a little familiar. The proud mother and “momager” took to Instagram to share the side-by-side snap shots on her Instagram page. She also teased that she can no longer punish Kylie since she’s of legal age. Let’s not forget, Kylie recently moved out of the Kardashian-Jenner home, which means she’s an independent woman.

Kris Jenner shared the #TBT on Thursday, August 13. She revealed to her fans that Kylie Jenner has raided her closet. The Instagram model is still celebrating her 18th birthday with her older sis, Kendall Jenner, her girl friends and her rumored boyfriend, Tyga, at the Casa Aramara resort in Punta Mita, Mexico.

Kris captioned the photo: “Ohhhhhhh so THIS is where my vintage Body Glove bathing suit went!!!! @kyliejenner you are grounded! Wait, I can’t do that anymore you’re 18…” She also concluded the caption with the following hashtags #whoknewyouwouldlikemyoldstuff, #acapulco1989, #whoworeitbetter.

Kris Jenner completed her look with a straw hat and a teacup. Meanwhile, Kylie rocked her look with cornrows, which has been giving some fans major Bo Derek vibes. The edgy teen also wore gold jewelry and mint green talons.

While Kylie didn’t respond to her mom’s Instagram post, it was obvious that she was inspired by her mom’s retro style. The beauty blogger has been sharing paparazzi snap shots of her on the beach in high-cut bikinis. She shared a photo of herself rocking the “Body Glove” look as she hugs her best friend, Pia Mia.

The Jenner teen even shared another photo of herself in a black high-cut swimsuit as she laid back in a lounge chair. She captioned the photo: “relax w meee.” Hopefully Kylie’s not feeling too lonely on her Mexico getaway. The neon pink one-piece bathing suit features the word “Body Glove” across the chest. This bathing suit was a hit in the 80s, which means that it’s older than Kylie herself. As they say in the fashion world, everything old becomes new again. As previously noted via Pop Sugar, the bathing suit is currently not for sale, which means that it’s a one-of-a-kind. But it could come back due to popular demand. The Kardashian-Jenner clan is known for setting trends among their fans.
