Bobbi Kristina Brown was buried two weeks ago, but the investigation into her demise is only just beginning. As authorities wait on the autopsy report that will confirm Bobbi Kristina’s official cause of death, recent accusations point out that some of her friends may have played a hand in the incident.
Although there is no indication that Bobbi Kristina partook in heroin use the day she was found comatose in her bathtub, her friend Mason Whitaker, a former roommate, took to Facebook this week to claim that a “bad batch” of heroin is the likely culprit of her death.
Whitaker also accuses Danyela Bradley and Max Lomas, two friends who were with Bobbi Kristina at her townhouse the day she was found unconscious, of pushing her to start using heroin only a month a prior.
“And I’m not going to stop talking about Max or Danyela!! If you knew real facts about the case, you would know that Max and Danyela convinced Krissi to start shooting up about a month before her death. And Max and Danyela gave her bad heroine to shoot after nick beat her up. And that Max, Nick, and Danyela all tried to cover up the scene and make it look like an accident and didn’t call the police until about 20 minutes after she was dead. These are all facts and I’m not going to stop voicing any of that until there is justice for my sister and all 3 of them go down for this (which they will).”
In another shocking allegation, Whitaker claimed that Pat Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, reportedly asked both Bradley and Lomas to say that Gordon was solely responsible for Bobbi Kristina’s death, although they were both reportedly present that day. Yet, neither Bradley nor Lomas confirmed the accusation.
“And if you knew anything about the real facts of this case, you’d know that Pat told Max and Danyela that she would pay them “X” amount of money and be able to pay off the DA to have immunity if they made up a story that it was only Nick who killed her.”
Should the information regarding Bradley and Lomas be true, there is chance that they both may face criminal charges. The Johns Creek area of Fulton County, close to where Bobbi Kristina and Gordon lived, has been riddled with heroin overdose cases for the past several years, and those selling, distributing, and coercing others to try the drug are being held responsible for their actions.
For instance, in July, 2014, three men were charged in connection with the death of Johns Creek resident Chelsea Bennett, one of Bobbi Kristina’s close friends. Bennett, 20, died from a heroin overdose after being coaxed into trying the drug by Cory Ben-Hanania, 21. He pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, distribution of heroin, and reckless endangerment. He was sentenced to serve 12 years in prison.
Two other men, Sebastian Andrade and Kevin McCaffrey, were also charged in connection with Bennet’s death, and pleaded guilty to selling heroin and reckless endangerment. While Andrade received probation, McCaffrey was sentenced to serve four years in prison.
As of now, no one has been charged in the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown. Gordon, however, is facing an upcoming civil trial in which he’s accused of wrongful death, physical abuse, mental abuse, and theft.
