San Francisco Giants Hilariously Re-Do ‘Full House’ Intro Ahead Of Netflix Reboot [Video]

Hoards of Full House fans are ecstatic about Netflix bringing the ’90s classic back for a new season soon, including the San Francisco Giants. The team has jumped on board with their own tribute to the TGIF mainstay.

Along with the original San Francisco Giants take on the Full House intro, the team also tweeted a series of GIFs showcasing all of the individual players’ segments. Some of the baseballers plucked from the lineup included Matt Duffy, Javier Lopez, and jeremy Affeldt.

Fan reaction to the San Francisco team’s take on Full House was also strong on Twitter. Several Giants fans made sure their laughter was heard after the clip launched Friday.

Full House’s Netflix update has been brewing for several months now, rife with controversy with the back-and-forth of whether or not Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen — the undisputed breakout stars of the show — will be coming back for a new season. Perhaps the high-profile San Francisco Giants endorsement will convince the twins that Netflix’s Full House reboot is worth their time.

John Stamos, one of the other biggest faces from the show, has been quite vocal about his distaste for Olsen twins’ lack of commitment to the Full House reboot. Last week, he even admitted that he tried to get the girls cut from the original program entirely, reported Bustle.

“It’s sort of true that the Olsen twins cried a lot. It was very difficult to get the shot. So I (said), ‘Get them out!’ That is actually 100 percent accurate. They brought in a couple of unattractive redheaded kids. We tried that for a while and that didn’t work. (Producers) were like, all right, get the Olsen twins back. And that’s the story.”

San Francisco Giants promotion or not, the Full House update is set to hit Netflix sometime in 2016.
