Reese Witherspoon Shares Adorable TBT Instagram Cheerleading Snap [Video]
Reese Witherspoon took to Instagram to share a TBT photo from her past on Thursday, August 13. The adorable photo is of a pre-teen Reese, who turns out to have been a cheerleader in her middle school days.
In the TBT photo, Reese Witherspoon shows off her pearly whites, along with her signature blonde locks, as she poses at the top of a pyramid of cheerleaders. Reese looks adorable in her tiny “Generals” uniform as she shows off her moves, reports People magazine.
Witherspoon, who graduated in 1990 from Harding Academy in Nashville, Tennessee, captioned the TBT photo, “#TBT to my days as a proud General #cheernation #firstsquad #lilgeneral.”

In response, Harding Academy replied to Reese with their school cheer, “Big Red in the front…. Let me hear you grunt! Big Blue in the rear…. Let me hear you cheer!”
Fans also loved the snap, with one user telling Reese, “Since you are doing some flashbacks, I just watched your movie Election from way back! So funny.”
“Ahhh fellow Harding Academy and Harpeth Hall grad!!” replied another fellow schoolmate.
The TBT pic isn’t the only snap Witherspoon has shared on her Instagram account. According to Today, Reese also loves sharing photos of her children, including her gorgeous daughter, who looks exactly like Reese. Back in May, Witherspoon shared an Instagram photo of herself with her 15-year-old daughter, Ava. In the pic, Reece and her daughter are embracing, showing that they’re not just mother and daughter, but also best friends. In the snap, the pair have almost-identical long, blonde locks.

Reese Witherspoon has been working harder than ever in Hollywood as she manages to juggle her role as a mom and her career. In an interview with Today, Witherspoon confessed that it’s not so easy being a hardworking mom.
“Right now I’m feeling sad missing my little 2-year-old,” she said.
Reese also mentioned how her “daughter’s about to finish her freshman year of high school, and my son has a golf tournament this weekend that I hope I don’t miss. There are some sacrifices you make, and it hurts your heart sometimes, but my kids tell me they’re proud of what I’ve accomplished, and that just means everything.”
During the interview, Reese Witherspoon shared a TBT moment from her childhood and related how much she respects her hardworking mom.
“I grew up with a working mom, and I have so much respect for the things she did as a nurse and a teacher. I would never begrudge her that.”
