Kristen Stewart Loves To ‘Live In The F–king Ambiguity Of This Life’

Kristen Stewart has said very little throughout the past few months, even in the face of so much speculation regarding her sexuality and her romantic interests, but Ms. Stewart is now coming forward in a new interview. Kristen wants everyone to know she’s not hiding or ashamed. She’s just living her life.

Specifically, Ms. Stewart has been linked to visual effects producer Alicia Cargile. While Kirsten has avoided making any public statements confirming her relationship with Cargile, Stewart told Nylon magazine that she’s also not denying that there’s something between Alicia and herself. It seems Ms. Stewart wants to keep fans guessing, or perhaps Kirsten just chooses to let people believe what they like.

“Google me, I’m not hiding,” Ms. Stewart said of her sexual preferences. “I think in three or four years, there are going to be a whole lot more people who don’t think it’s necessary to figure out if you’re gay or straight. It’s like, just do your thing.”

Kirsten seemed to give a better answer to the general question of why she won’t confirm or deny much of her love interests, or of her sexual identity in general, and Ms. Stewart may have a valid point about the importance of nonconformity.

“If you feel like you really want to define yourself, and you have the ability to articulate those parameters and that in itself defines you, then do it,” said Kristen, according to Us Magazine. “But I am an actress, man. I live in the f–king ambiguity of this life and I love it. I don’t feel like it would be true for me to be like, ‘I’m coming out!’ No, I do a job. Until I decide that I’m starting a foundation or that I have some perspective or opinion that other people should be receiving… I don’t. I’m just a kid making movies.”

Previously, Ms. Stewart touched on her much criticized role in the Twilight film franchise, revealing that it was a difficult time for her for unspecified reasons, but also establishing that it served as a proving ground for her to grow and evolve as a strong person.

“Speaking very candidly, [the Twilight years were] a really traumatic period in my early twenties that kick-started something in me that was a bit more… feral,” Ms. Stewart confessed. “I’m really proud that I am able to move forward and not fall into every mental crater. That’s a new thing for me. Age has made me smarter and calmer. And it is f–king awesome.”

Kristen Stewart stars alongside Jesse Eisenberg in American Ultra, which hits theaters on August 21.
