Twinkle Khanna Spellbound By Husband Akshay Kumar’s Upcoming Film ‘Brothers’

Twinkle Khanna is “spellbound” by her husband Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Brothers, according to a tweet she sent out Wednesday.

Twinkle, 40, got out of the screening for the film last night, and immediately took to Twitter to let the fans know about it.

“Saw #Brothers and the second half had me spell bound-both the brothers @askshaykumar @S1dharthM are absolutely fantastic.”

This “absolutely fantastic” film is a family drama from the Bollywood studios that successfully marries mixed martial arts and the importance of family ties. For those who saw the Hollywood film Warrior, starring Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton, the film will seem familiar, since it’s essentially an Indian remake of that film. It’s directed by Karan Malhotra (Agneepath) and produced by Karan Johar, who happens to be a close family friend to the Khanna-Kumar clan.

Her first tweet must not have done justice to the film, because less than two hours later, Twinkle sent out another quick tweet saying,

“A fabulous film @karanmalhotra21 @karanjohar take a bow #Brothers.”

Besides starring the talented Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra, Brothers also includes Jacqueline Fernandez, Jackie Shroff, and Shefali Shah in leading roles.

Though Twinkle is currently trending in the news because of her husband’s fame, Akshay Kumar is not the only reason that people know Twinkle Khanna’s name. She’s a woman that wears many hats, including her roles as interior designer, actress, film producer, and columnist.

She is a celebrated actress, even though she hasn’t been on her own set in 15 years. Her last film was in 2001 called Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, and she is best known for her strong female roles in Jodi No. 1, Mela, Baadshah, and Barsaat, all within the Bollywood realm.
