New Canadian $20 Bill Features Topless Women, According to Focus Groups

Have you seen Canada’s new $20 bill? If you look closely, you can see three naked women.

The Canadian government, which recently started developing new bills as part of an upgrade to its monetary system, said that the new $20 note actually depicts the Vimy Memorial in Northern France. But several people have stated that the new bill seems to show the Twin Towers and three naked woman alongside the Queen.

According to UPI, one member of a focus group that was shown the bill before its release, said:

“It’s too pornographic. What is the woman on the top holding?”

The Daily Mail reports that several similar reports were made during the five-year consultation period when the bill was developed. The complaints were filed under the headline “potential controversies.”

One focus group member also wondered if people would see the Vimy Memorial, a monument for Canadian soldiers lost during First World War, or the Twin Towers that were destroyed in the United States on September 11th, 2011.

One focus group member wrote:

“I wonder if the monument here could conjure up memories of 9/11 or the Twin Towers.”

The Daily Mail reports that the women at the top of the Vimy Memorial are known as the Chorus. The tallest figures represents Justice and Peace. The figures of Hope, Charity, Honour, Faith, Truth and Knowledge rest below. But is that what you see on the new Canadian $20 bill? Do you see the Vimy Memorial or three topless woman hanging off of the Twin Towers?

The new $20 bill will officially go into circulation in November. What do you see in the new Canadian $20 bill?
