‘RHOA’ Star Cynthia Bailey’s Husband Caught Up In Financial Troubles — Again!

Cynthia Bailey may be proud of her business accomplishments and her modeling empire, but it sounds like her husband isn’t as lucky in his business ventures. Cynthia has shared Peter Thomas’ financial troubles on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but it sounds like he doesn’t really learn anything from his situations. Back when Bailey first joined the show, Peter was struggling financially with his restaurant, Uptown.

These days, Cynthia Bailey may be working on her own business ventures, but Peter can’t seem to make things happen. With Bar One closing and relocating last year, Thomas hasn’t been able to make the situation good again. Apparently, Thomas has been slapped with another eviction notice and a demand to pay back rent.

According to a new Radar Online report, Cynthia Bailey is keeping silent as her husband battles this legal drama once again. Apparently, he owes rent on the relocated Bar One, and owes $1869 in rent. The Auburn Avenue property was the second location for Thomas’ eatery, and he looked at the location on the show. Sadly, he was never able to open its doors for business before getting kicked out once again. Bailey isn’t mentioned in the lawsuit drama.

Cynthia Bailey had a great excuse for why Peter was kicked out of the first location, but it does seem odd that he can’t get a space that works for him. In 2014, Cynthia’s husband was slapped with a massive $100,000 lawsuit over a similar issue. Back then, Thomas “breached a lease agreement by failing to pay rent and other fees including late fees, bank charges, real estate property taxes, and unpaid utilities” for Bar One in its previous location, as well as on property used for Bailey’s modeling agency and talent company. Bailey had her working space near the Bar One location.

“I’ve been caught in the middle of the crossfire,” he revealed back then, with Bailey standing by her husband.

Cynthia hasn’t commented, but it sounds like a mere $2,000 is something they can cover easily. Plus, Cynthia is back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and her paycheck will surely help out in the troubled home. The couple recently went through a cheating scandal of sorts, where Peter was caught getting too close to a woman. The entire thing was filmed on Instagram.

According to the Inquisitr, Cynthia Bailey revealed that marriage was no easy task, but that she was sticking by her husband. While Cynthia won’t invest money into his business ventures, she will tolerate heavy flirting.
