Ted Nugent says he is not a Megyn Kelly fan, but he often turns on Fox News just to look at her, as he sits nude on the couch, loading his gun. The rocker berated the news anchor in an attempt to defend Donald Trump.
During an interview on WIBX’s Keeler in the Morning on August 12, Ted Nugent went off on a tangent against Megyn Kelly in an attempt to defend Donald Trump’s “blood” comment, reports Media Matters.
“I’m not a fan of Megyn Kelly, although I often turn on Fox just to look at her. Sometimes when I’m loading my [gun ammunition] magazines, I like to just look at her. And I usually sit naked on the couch dropping hot brass on my stuff.”
In the wake of last week’s debate, Donald Trump once again created a firestorm by commenting of Megyn Kelly, “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of — wherever,” in reference to her asking the presidential hopeful to address past comments he’s made in which he has labeled certain women “fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.”
As Western Journalism reports, Ted Nugent has made clear that he is a strong supporter of the Republican presidential contender. Although Donald Trump maintains his “blood” comment was taken out of context, Nugent says the Fox News anchor should have never asked Trump to explain his comments.
“I’m afraid the gorgeous, stunning, otherwise professional and tuned-in Megyn Kelly absolutely fell of the cliff of political correctness when she proposed that obnoxious, meaningless, nonsensical, biased question for Donald Trump.”
Nugent says Kelly’s questioning Trump’s sexist comments is either because she is taking bad advice or because the Fox News anchor is “getting stupid.”
“Megyn Kelly absolutely broke all of our hearts as only a Megyn Kelly could when she went into the status quo world. She isn’t status quo, but she started acting, and sounding, and looking like one, and I don’t believe she is. I think she is playing some games, either that or she’s getting bad advice, either that or she’s just getting stupid. Either way, Donald Trump is the good guy, currently Megyn Kelly ain’t.”
Megyn Kelly is not the first female to face such harsh criticisms as Ted Nugent has a history of directing derogatory comments towards women, as he has referred to Hillary Clinton as a “worthless b***h” and Senator Dianne Feinstein as a “worthless w***e.”
