Naya Rivera Poses Nude After Slamming Kim Kardashian’s Naked ‘Paper’ Magazine Photo Shoot
Naya Rivera bared all while pregnant for a new photo shoot with Yahoo. Now, the former Glee star is getting slammed for her photo shoot. Some fans have claimed that Naya is copying Kim Kardashian, while others believe she’s acting like a hypocrite since she previously slammed the reality star for posing nude.
The actress posed nude for a special shoot with Yahoo Style. As previously reported via the Inquisitr, the photos feature Rivera wearing nothing but a black fur shawl and sex hair as she shows off her baby bump. Rivera also poses fully clothed in a black gown with a high slit.
Kim posted her own nude pregnancy photo on that same very day. What was Kim’s reason? Well, she wanted to address the remarks on her changing pregnancy body.
The famous Kardashian sister wrote a lengthy caption alongside her nude photo.
“First they say I’m too skinny so I have to be faking it…Now they say I’m too big so I have to be faking it…SMH! Some days I’m photographed before I eat & look smaller, some days I’ve just eaten & I look bigger. It’s all a part of the process. I think you all know me well enough to know I would document the process if I got a surrogate. Everyone’s body is different, every pregnancy is very different!”
Kim continued.
“I’ve learned to love my body at every stage! I’m going to get even bigger & that’s beautiful too! I’m blessed to even be pregnant & even luckier to not have preeclampsia as far as I know, so I don’t have the swelling issue this time! They also say your body carries a boy different than a girl! Whatever the case may be I’m grateful to God for this miracle & no matter what rumors or comments you throw my way this time they truly don’t affect me!”
Naya Rivera took to Twitter on Tuesday evening to address the rumors that wanted to pose her own nude pregnancy photo shoot on the same day that Kim Kardashian shared a nude pregnancy photo of herself. Naya insists that she didn’t plan to upstage Kim. In fact, it was out of her control.
“I chose to share pregnancy photos because I think this is a very beautiful and special time in my life. Media outlets know that when you give your photos and an interview to run a story you never get a choice as to when it runs.”
“So trying to make an assumption out of nothing based on stupid assumptions is awful. Such shame. Especially when it comes to a woman and her beautiful pregnancy journey.”
This isn’t the only problem that fans have with Naya. She notoriously commented on Kim Kardashian’s Instagram account in 2014 for simultaneously “breaking the internet” and posing nude in her infamous Paper magazine photo shoot. Naya wrote, “I normally don’t. But…you’re someone’s mother…” It was first nude photo shoot that Kim took after giving birth to her first child, North West.
Kim’s BFF, Jonathan Cheban, slammed the actress on his blog for attempting to look like the reality star. Cheban wrote, “We all know you want to be Kim, but you don’t got it boo, and the only cover you will be gracing is the Single White Female 2 straight to DVD box set.”
Ouch! It looks like there’s a bitter feud between Naya Rivera and Kim Kardashian. This isn’t the first time that the singer has been accused of copying the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. Fans of both stars have noticed that Rivera has been copying Kardashian’s signature style and looks over the past year, especially during her relationship to rapper Big Sean.
