Denise Richards Talks ‘RHOBH:’ Is She Joining Season Six?

Denise Richards has been tied to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for years, and even made a guest appearance during a previous season, but could she be featured as a full-time housewife on the series’ upcoming sixth season?

On August 12, Denise Richards paid a visit to the set of Extra TV at Universal Studios Hollywood, where she confirmed that not only was she not joining the show — she hadn’t even been asked.

“I think it was just a rumor, I wasn’t even asked… I kinda like watching those shows, and Lisa Rinna is a good friend of mine. I like watching her work on it, but yeah, no, I don’t know where that came from. I don’t think I could show my life on there… that would be a whole other show!”

While Denise Richards won’t be seen on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 6, she will be seen in a new YouTube show, Vanity, which she described as a cross between Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars.

Also during her interview with Extra TV, Denise Richards spoke of her home life with her daughters, telling host Mario Lopez, “I always try to keep things as peaceful as possible.”

As for her love life, Denise Richards didn’t have much to report in terms of a serious relationship, stating, “I still have friends with benefits until the right one… yeah, I kind of have a lot going on.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Denise Richards was rumored to be joining the cast of the Bravo reality series earlier this summer, following the demotion of Brandi Glanville. However, a short while later, Gossip Cop shot down the rumor, claiming there was no truth to a Denise Richards addition.

Around the time of the Denise Richards rumors, Glanville claimed she didn’t want to return to the show because her friends, Kim Richards and Yolanda Foster, were no longer full-time wives. Below is what she told Howard Stern, via MSN:

“I have so much more on my plate than this show, I talked to producers, I really didn’t want to come back. I have other offers to do other things and I said, ‘Listen, I will come back if it makes sense’ — if it’s with Yolanda or of it’s with Kim. Otherwise, I don’t talk to any of the other ladies, and I don’t like them.”

Although Denise Richards will not be a part of the official cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she is close with a couple members of the cast, so seeing her pop up in a guest role or two is certainly a possibility.
