‘Game Of Thrones’ Spoilers: Maisie Williams Confirms Arya Stark Fate, Compares Her Eyes To Vaginas

Maisie Williams has taken to her Instagram account to confirm a Game Of Thrones spoiler regarding her character Arya Stark, by admitting that she will be blind.

But in classic Maisie Williams fashion, the actress made this revelation in a rather comical fashion. Originally, Williams wrote on both her Twitter and Instagram accounts, while lying in bed for a selfie.

But Williams wasn’t done with her update regarding her most recent exploits filming Game Of Thrones. She then also uploaded a video of her eyes post shooting with blind contacts, which gave us a closer look at the eyewear underneath her eyeballs.

You can click over to the Instagram page to watch the video here. In the clip, Williams explains that the eyewear made her “eyes look like vaginas,” which then provoked her to burst out laughing.

She also captioned her video with, “Explain dat @sophiet,” which was more than likely directed towards her close friend and fellow Game Of Thrones actor Sophie Turner.

Those of you who watched Game Of Thrones last season will be very much aware that Arya Stark appeared to go blind in the fifth season finale.

Arya was given this punishment after she brutally murdered Ser Meryn Trant (Ian Beattie), the man who murdered her sword master, Syrio Forel (Miltos Yerolemou).

Because she sought out and had her revenge, Arya defied the Many-Faced God and The House Of Black and White, which then provoked Jaqen H’ghar (Tom Wlaschia) to take her sight.

This isn’t the first time that Maisie Williams has spoken about having to wear contact lenses for her stint on the show. During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, via the Express, Williams admitted that she’s worried her character’s blindness could hamper her future on the much loved show.

“I don’t want to wear these crazy contacts for the rest of my time on Thrones,” Williams declared. “I don’t know how that will impede her life. She’s going to become very vulnerable thanks to that. It’s exciting and scary. So I’m worried about next year.”

Game Of Thrones fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming season of the show, especially after the last episode appeared to show the death of Jon Snow, a surprise that led Maisie Williams to react.
