Nina Dobrev Turning To Booze, Boys & Bashes After ‘Vampire Diaries’ Exit & Ian Somerhalder Split?

Nina Dobrev left The Vampire Diaries (TVD) but she may regret that move. After she left the show and her former boyfriend Ian Somerhalder married, Nina has some friends worrying that she’s too much into partying with bashes, booze, and new guy pal Austin Stowell, reported CDL.

Visiting France, Dobrev and Austin provided the paparazzi with PDA, canoodling happily on a yacht. But now Nina is turning to her gal pals to build up her support system.

Since Dobrev exited TVD, she’s become something of a party animal. Pals even expressed their concern that Nina was relying on booze and bashes to avoid the pain of a broken relationship with Ian and a perhaps premature exit from a popular show.

However, as the Inquisitr reported, Dobrev has been too busy enjoying herself to worry about what others think concerning her behavior.

Wearing a skimpy bikini on holiday in St. Tropez, Nina, 26, turned heads as she cavorted with her 30-year-old boyfriend Stowell.

Enjoying the good life on a yacht with pals, Nina proved that her swimsuit had staying power when she rode a huge slide straight into the ocean. Helpfully keeping an eye out to make sure Dobrev’s bikini stayed in place, boyfriend Austin was right by her side.

And a nod to her fans, Nina shared an Instagram video showing herself on that slide.

“Here’s to never growing up! Bye Felicia.”

Stowell and Dobrev also enjoyed traditional couple activities ranging from cuddling to kissing.

But Nina also has posted some intriguing insights on Instagram, leaving some to wonder if she’s really over Ian.

As far as the possibility that Dobrev might return to TVD, a CW executive expressed his open invitation, reported People.

“We would have loved Nina to stay,” said CW president Mike Pedowitz. “She did a great job for the six years she was on the show. She is welcome back any time she wants to come back.”

Dobrev said it was a challenging decision to make.

“I was very aware of how lucky I am – and how lucky I’ve been over the past six years – to have this incredible family, and [I’m] very aware of how much I’m going to miss them,” said Nina.

But why did Dobrev leave TVD? Nina revealed her reason on Instagram, explaining that Dobrev had always planned to spend six seasons on Diaries.

“I always knew I wanted Elena’s story to be a six season adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime. I was a human, a vampire, a doppelganger, a crazy immortal, a doppelganger pretending to be human, a human pretending to be a doppelganger. I got kidnapped, killed, resurrected, tortured, cursed, body-snatched, was dead and undead, and there’s still so much more to come before the season finale in May.”
