Justin Bieber’s New Album Set For Release On November 13

Justin Bieber is back, and he’s bearing gifts. The superstar’s highly anticipated new album has a release date. November 13, to be exact.

Following reports on Tuesday, a later tweet from Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, seems to suggest that release date isn’t as locked down as indicated.

Either way, Friday, November 13 is the most specific D-Day for Bieber’s upcoming record so far, and is supported by Billboard’s and an hours-earlier Hits Daily Double report which noted the same date.

Bieber’s as-yet-untitled new album will be his fourth full-length after 2012’s Believe, which previously topped Billboard’s 200 Albums Chart.

Billboard did qualify their confirmation, reporting that the date is the “target of Bieber’s full-length return.” A November release will allow Team Bieber to fully promote “What Do You Mean,” the 21-year-old’s first single from his new album, tease other songs, and get some pre-Thanksgiving sales action.

Since announcing “What Do You Mean” over at On Air With Ryan Seacrest last month, the Biebs and Seacrest kicked off a celeb-assisted countdown on social media to the single’s release on August 28.

The famous roll call has included Orange Is The New Black actress Ruby Rose, The Late Late Show host James Corden, Mariah Carey, Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott, J. Balvin, Ariana Grande, Big Sean, Shaquille O’Neal, Little Mix, and Ed Sheeran.

Bieber previously described “What Do You Mean?” as having a “cool, new sound.” He also nutshelled it as “uptempo,” “summery,” “poppy but cool.” The song has been praised by La Grande and USA Today, who heard it at the recent iHeartMedia Music summit.

However, the most stunning endorsement comes from Charlie “See You Again” Puth, who tweeted his positive verdict on Tuesday. He enthused, “just heard ‘what do you mean’ by justin bieber…#yesitsahit #wow.”

Meanwhile, Bieber’s most recent collaboration with Jack U’s Skrillex and Diplo on “Where Are U Now” peaked at No. 8 on the Hot 100 and is currently at No. 12 on the singles chart. The EDM/pop banger went platinum in the U.S. and is certified in other countries.

The singer’s next live date will be a special cameo at Billboard’s first ever Hot 100 Music Festival in New York on August 23, where he will perform “Where Are Ü Now” with the one and only Skrillex.
