Beverly Hills Housewife Brandi Glanville Is In Touch With Kim Richards, ‘RHOBH’ Confirms

Beverly Hills reality star Brandi Glanville was recently contacted by her friend and former co-star, Kim Richards. Over a week after Richards’ arrest, the Beverly Hills housewife took to Twitter, where she confirmed Richards had reached out to her after allegedly shoplifting from a Target store in Van Nuys, California.

Throughout the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Glanville received backlash for her friendship with Richards. During the season, Richards was clearly struggling with her relationship with her sister, Kyle, but rather than help the two women make amends, Glanville drove an even bigger wedge between them. In one particular scene from the Beverly Hills-based series, Glanville was seen convincing Richards that if she distanced herself from Kyle, Kyle would learn to respect her more. Glanville also told her former Beverly Hills co-star her sister had been manipulating her for years.

Sadly, the troubled former Beverly Hills reality star believed what Glanville told her, and she and her sister appear to remain estranged.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, one person who hasn’t been in contact with Richards is The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump. During an interview with E! News over the weekend, Vanderpump said it simply wasn’t her place to reach out to the struggling star, but said she wished her well.

“I haven’t [reached out] because I feel there are people a lot closer to her than I am. I send her well wishes and hope she’s okay,” Vanderpump explained of her former Beverly Hills co-star.

“It’s a shame. I’ve been saddened by that and it’s really not my place to comment on that now. Obviously, she’s a friend and not family but it’s out there … It saddens me to see her going in this direction. I think she has really good support but now her support needs to really step in and something needs to be done.”

Richards, who starred as a full-time housewife on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from Season 1 to Season 5, is not expected to appear on the show’s sixth season. Instead, she has reportedly been replaced by Erika Jayne, a friend of Beverly Hills’ Yolanda Foster.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 is expected to return to Bravo this winter. During the upcoming season, Glanville will be seen only in a part-time role.
