Carlton Gebbia Returning To ‘RHOBH’? Tweets About TV Return

Will Carlton Gebbia be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? On Monday, Carlton posted a tweet that stated that people may see her on TV again.

Carlton wrote that she’ll know soon whether she’ll make a TV return.

Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud were added to the season 4 cast of Real Housewives, joining Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Kim Richards, Brandi Glanville, and Yolanda Foster. After just one season, both Carlton and Joyce were dropped from the show.

Yet Carlton’s TV return, if it does happen, may not be on Real Housewives, but on a different show. In an interview with E! News in May 2014, Carlton said that she and her husband, David Gebbia, have something in the works.

“I sort of look at it as a blessing in disguise because my husband does have a project in the works, a reality show. It’s something that would give me the opportunity to work with him. I was contractually obligated for a three-year deal and if that’s the case, I’m not anymore.”

Carlton, who said that she “enjoyed working for Bravo,” added that she wasn’t going to miss all the drama that comes with being on Real Housewives.

“I would like to go into a show and not have to watch the knives coming at my back. That would be great!”

In December 2014, executive producer Andy Cohen admitted on Watch What Happens Live that Joyce was the victim of bad editing.

“You know she’s a PTA mom, we portrayed her with all the sex stuff, and the Wiccan stuff, and that was it. I know there was more to her and I feel like she got an unfair shake.”

During her time on season 4 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Carlton Gebbia clashed heavily with Kyle Richards. Carlton also didn’t get along with fellow newcomer Joyce. Yet she did have a strong connection with Lisa Vanderpump. After the group’s trip to Puerto Rico, which Carlton did not go on, it was Carlton that a tearful Lisa went to for comfort after she felt everyone ganged up on her.

Carlton also forged a strong friendship with Brandi Glanville. The two still remain friends to this day and actually had a girls’ night out last weekend. Brandi posted a photo of herself with Carlton and Adrienne Janic, who has popped up on a few episodes of Real Housewives in support of Brandi.

In January 2015, Carlton actually told Brandi on her podcast radio show that she would return to Real Housewives after what Andy Cohen said about her getting a bad edit.

“Yes, I would. After Andy being public about it…yes, absolutely I would come back…I was really happy [about what Andy said]. It’s all well me saying I got a bloody bad edit, but then I sound sour. So then when I heard Andy Cohen and then Lisa Vanderpump say I did get a bad edit, it was sort of validating. I appreciated it.”

Fans will just have to wait to see whether Carlton Gebbia’s tweet about a possible TV return is in regards to Real Housewives or another TV show. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Joyce Giraud has also continued working in TV after her Real Housewives departure. In March, she filmed a scripted series with Joanna Krupa, who starred on three seasons of The Real Housewives of Miami.
