Katie Holmes Hair Style Matches Suri, But Is Tom Cruise Avoiding Them Because They’re Scientology ‘SPs’? [Video]
Katie Holmes hair has evolved through the years. Since beginning her career on Dawson’s Creek to long, pulled-back-in-a-ponytail locks to sporting a fake bob to the Metro Ball, Katie has shown variety in her ‘dos. But now Holmes has cut her hair into a bob specifically for an exciting new role in her latest movie, reported Us Weekly.
Filming in New York City, All We Had gives Katie the chance to try combining her skills at both acting and directing. The 36-year-old plays the mother of a 13-year-old who is trying to find a new life for herself and her daughter when they find themselves impoverished.
Holmes’ new hair style resembles Stefania Owen, who plays her 13-year-old daughter in their new film. And it also looks somewhat like her own daughter Suri’s adorable bob, to whom Katie also plays the role of a single mom.
But where is Tom Cruise? Sources close to Katie told TMZ that Cruise hasn’t seen Suri in months.
Tom first cited his work on Mission Impossible 5 as the reason for not visiting Suri. But even when Cruise was finished with the film, he made it a mission possible to avoid his daughter, said the insiders.
However, Tom’s spokesperson claimed that Cruise saw Suri secretly to avoid paparazzi, a report denied by Holmes’ insiders.
Why would Tom not visit his daughter? Some allegations surfaced that Cruise is not seeing Suri or Cruise because they are SPs in Scientology. The Church has denied those reports.

SP stands for Suppressive Person, according to the Church of Scientology’s Web site.
“SP is a person who seeks to suppress other people in their vicinity. The relationship between Katie and Tom is dramatically different than an equally well-known couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
Although Brad’s and Angelina’s relationship first began with controversy, it’s ended in long-lasting love and trust, with Jolie even directing Pitt to bring forth aggression in a film in which they both acted, as the Inquisitr reported.
