Meek Mill Gets No Love From Philly — Eagles Play Drake’s ‘Back To Back’ During Public Practice [Video]

Meek Mill gets owned by the Philadelphia Eagles. During the team’s practice, you can clearly hear Drake’s “Back to Back” echoing throughout the stadium.

To quote Drake’s lyrics, “This ain’t what she meant when she told you to open up more.”

Meek Mill has become a star. However, his stardom definitely hasn’t been in the particular limelight he desired. In fact, it’s quite the sad contrary.

To add to the already embarrassing onslaught Meek’s career has received, his hometown NFL team, the Philadelphia Eagles, seemed to serve him up one as well. The Eagle’s preseason schedule starts on Sunday, August 16, 2015, against the Indianapolis Colts. Well, of course, they have to practice, and teams often open them up to the public. Well, it’s during one of these practices that Drake’s Meek Mill diss track “Back to Back” is heard playing loud and proud in his city.

Likewise, those in the audience were singing along with the track. Meek Mill’s music career appears to be on a downhill tumble with little to no recovery in view. That Twitter call-out was possibly the worst thing Meek could’ve done for himself, as a rapper.

  1. Mill and Drake were friends, outside of music.
  2. He looked up to Drizzy as an artist.
  3. And Meek quoted that Aubrey was one of the top three rap artists, in his opinion.

So, why buck against him simply because he didn’t retweet his album? Meek Mill’s Dreams Worth More Than Money was already topping charts. Supposedly, he thought Drizzy didn’t tweet it because of jealousy?

Whatever the case or reasoning, Meek Mill’s album may be the only thing that can save his career now. He attempted a second comeback diss, as an on-stage freestyle. But it quickly went nowhere. Well, actually, it drove himself straight into another Philly rapper by the name of Ar-Ab.

In “Back to Back,” Drake mentioned blasting his music as he rode through Philadelphia, himself. So, sometime during Meek Mill’s second diss, he quoted, “F**k Ar-Ab!” And AR definitely responded with a gruesome diss track.

What is Meek doing to himself and why? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
