Kylie Jenner Goes Blonde For 18th Birthday Bash [Video]

Kylie Jenner went blonde for her star-studded 18th birthday bash, which was held at The Nice Guy in Los Angeles on Sunday evening. The landmark birthday has left fans wondering which magazine Kylie will pick for her first nude photos, but for the night, the blonde Jenner just decided to have fun.

Kylie showed up at the party fashionably late, sporting her blonde wig, a long-sleeved silvery mini-dress covered in crystals and featuring nude panels throughout, and a pair of nude heels, reports the Daily Mail. Kylie Jenner also carried a silver clutch bag.

It’s not clear why Jenner decided to don a playful blonde wig for the event, but as previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kylie has been getting some heat for copying sister Kim Kardashian. Now, fans want to know if that’s the reason behind Kylie’s blonde locks. But fans aren’t the only ones noticing the similarities between Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian. In fact, Kanye West has been known to comment. Although supportive of Kylie, he thinks she needs her own signature look, reports Hollywood Life. And blonde might be it.

Kanye reportedly complained to momager Kris Jenner about Kylie’s look. “He’s definitely been championing [Kylie Jenner] for years as he sees real superstar potential in Kylie.” But now it’s time for Kylie to get a new image. “That’s why he felt OK telling her that she needs to stop copying every move Kim makes and create her own identity.”

Later in her birthday evening, Kylie changed into a sparkly little black dress, yet still wore her blonde locks. Kim Kardashian, on the other hand, wore maternity clothes, since the reality star is far along in her third pregnancy. Kim arrived at the birthday bash wearing a sheer black dress that featured her cleavage, but kept her neck warm with an opaque turtleneck neckline. She also wore black strappy heels, and a slicked back hairstyle, reports People magazine.

Kylie Jenner’s runway model sister, Kendall Jenner, was equally stunning in a tiny white crop top and LaQuan Smith skirt, which featured a slit right up Kendall’s long legs, finishing at her hip. Kendall wore her long brown locks down, foregoing the blonde extensions Kylie Jenner wore for the occasion.

The birthday festivities aren’t over, however. Kylie Jenner is making an appearance at a resort in Quebec, Canada, on August 16 for a second fun filled holiday. Will she sport the blonde tresses for that event, too?
