Nicki Minaj Pregnancy Rumors False, ‘Anaconda’ Rapper Not Expecting Baby With Meek Mill

Nicki Minaj sent fans into a tizzy on Saturday after she introduced boyfriend Meek Mill as her “baby father” during their tour stop in Burgettstown, Pa. on August 8.

Despite the speculation surrounding the rumors, both Minaj and Meek Mill have remained uncharacteristically tight-lipped in response to Minaj’s rumored pregnancy announcement.

Rather than clarifying the rumors herself, Minaj has been retweeting several fan messages that send well-wishes to her and Meek Mill in regards to the alleged pregnancy.

In one message retweeted by Minaj, a fan writes, “OMG @NICKIMINAJ OMG #BESTCONCERTEVER guess who’s pregnant,” to which Minaj added several laugh-crying emojis, Us Weekly reports.

The latest round of rumors surrounding Nicki and Meek comes just weeks after Mill denied pregnancy rumors during a radio interview with Shade 45’s DJ Superstar Jay, telling the radio host that while he and Minaj are hoping for kids “sooner or later,” Minaj wasn’t pregnant at the time of the rumors.

In addition, Meek added that he “wish[ed]” Minaj were pregnant, prompting Nicki to speak out against the pregnancy rumors on Twitter.

“No matter wut he, or anyone else says, Onika Tanya Maraj won’t b pushing anyone1 out her vajayjay, until she’s married. Now check that.”

Similarly, Minaj has been vocal about her desire for children for the future, telling Complex Magazine in November that she hopes to have children before putting out her fifth album.

“I feel like I was put here to be a mother,” Minaj said of her future plans for a family, leading some to believe that Minaj is ready to settle down with Meek despite their nearly 8-month relationship.

While Minaj and Meek continue to remain mum regarding the rumors, sources close to Nicki are speaking out against the ongoing speculation.

Sources dished to TMZ that while Minaj and Meek are having fun with the pregnancy rumors, Nicki is currently not pregnant.

The source explains that Minaj’s decision to refer to Meek as her “baby father” is merely a term of endearment to show her affection for the rapper and not meant to be confused with the phrase,”father of my child.”

The source goes on to note that Minaj has used the phrase with both Lil Wayne and Drake in the past despite her close friendship with both rappers.

Minaj’s source concludes their statement by noting that while the rapper is currently not expecting her first child with the “I’m A Boss” rapper, the duo are hoping for children in the future and feel that they’re in it “for the long haul.”
