Kelly Ripa: Broken Marriage For Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos As Couple Suffers ‘Matching’ Injuries
Kelly Ripa’s marriage is broken! Well, kind of.
While Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, are still going strong, they have both suffered injuries on the right side of their bodies — and they are both wearing a walking boot on the same foot! According to the SpreadIt, Ripa hurt her foot during a dance class. Days later, Mark Consuelos injured his calf.
The talk show host and her actor hubby posted photos of their matched bad luck, but seem to be in good spirits otherwise. When bad things happen, you can either have a bad attitude, or you can just laugh — and Kelly and Mark have chosen to ride this wave while keeping positive attitudes.

Kelly Ripa talked about her broken ankle on Live! With Kelly And Michael, according to the New York Daily News.
“I was in a dance class, like I typically, usually am, and somebody had left a weight on the floor. Usually what happens is you do dancing and then you do weights and then you put your weights back on your mat. Somebody, I guess, either left it not on their mat or maybe kicked it when they were dancing. I don’t know. All I know is I did a jump — and in my mind, I am an incredible dancer, graceful as can be — and I landed on the weight and my foot went over and under the weight. It sounded like bubble wrap, you guys!” Kelly laughed.
Mark Consuelos didn’t elaborate on how he injured himself, but he did confirm that he suffered a “small tear” in his calf muscle. Ouch!
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, some believe that Mark’s injury was nothing but karma. Why? Well, Kelly had mentioned that Mark was following her around with the video camera, apparently getting a kick out of the fact that she injured herself — and guess what happened next?
Regardless, these two are both healing and are both going to be okay.
“So far the Live! With Kelly and Michael host seems to be following doctor’s orders with wearing the boot, but she’s already admitted she doubts she’ll last the full six weeks as initially instructed. Fans can only imagine the stories yet to come related to the adventures taking place in the midst of Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa’s broken and battered household,” reports the Inquisitr.
