Bravo Star Kim Richards Has ‘Severe’ Alcohol Problem [Report]

Bravo star Kim Richards is reportedly suffering from a severe form of alcohol dependency. According to an August 10 report by Real Mr. Housewife, an insider has recently spoken out, claiming if the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star doesn’t get help soon, she could lose her life.

“Kim is in grave danger. As much as she may not like to admit it, she has a severe drinking problem. All of those around her keep hoping each situation she gets herself into will be a wakeup call, but thus far, nothing seems to work. Kim needs severe help, and those around her are trying to encourage her to get it. If Kim does not get help, those around her are not sure how much longer she can go on like this. They fear the worst for her — including that she could potentially die — if she does not get her life in order.”

Earlier this year, after filming the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as well as the latest installment of Sharknado, the Bravo star suffered an alcohol relapse, which led to an arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel weeks later. During the arrest, the Bravo star reportedly kicked a police officer, leading to a battery on an officer charge, which is still believed to be pending against her.

Months later, Richards was arrested for a second time after allegedly shoplifting from a Target store in Van Nuys, California. As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Bravo star spent one night behind bars after the arrest, and is now facing a petty theft charge for her reported crime.

Although the Bravo star was said to have been homeless at the time of her arrest, Entertainment Tonight denied those reports last week, claiming she simply hadn’t yet found a permanent residence after her rental was put on the market.

“She rented a home for a few weeks from a friend, and is currently house hunting to find a more permanent residence. She is not broke, not living in a car, and not homeless. She only moved out of her old house because she was renting the house, and the house went up for sale.”

The Bravo star is not expected to return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 6. Instead, the troubled former reality star has reportedly been replaced by singer Erika Jayne, a friend of Yolanda Foster and her husband, David.
