Carrie Underwood: No Makeup Has Carrie Underwood’s Face Going Viral

Carrie Underwood had no makeup on in a new selfie, and the photo of the country star has gone viral. According to The SpreadIt, Carrie Underwood posted the makeup-free picture over the weekend, asking fans to “be nice” with their comments. For the most part, people were nice, as Carrie, 32, is a natural beauty, and looks lovely without a made-up face.

Evidently, the photo was all part of a business promotion for the American Idol winner.

“[Underwood was] wearing a Printed Knit Headband and Power Seamless Double Strap Bra, all from her new fitness apparel and accessories company called CALIA by Carrie. The singer… used the caption both to promote her business and encourage women to drop the makeup. She urged them to sweat, work out and make sure they ‘stay the path,’ which is also the motto of her brand,” reports The SpreadIt.

Carrie Underwood with no makeup is fairly different than Carrie Underwood with makeup. Usually the singer is dressed to the nines, wearing a lot of foundation and eye shadow because she’s making appearances, performing, or accepting an award or two. Seeing the new mom (son, Isaiah, was born in February) going natural is a nice change, and she really doesn’t have anything to be embarrassed about.

And if you are a Carrie fan, there is other news to get excited about.

According to the Canada Journal, Underwood will co-host this year’s 49th annual CMA Awards along with Brad Paisley on November 4. The show will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Carrie and Brad have been co-hosting the show together for the past seven years. Many people seem to love their chemistry, and they are both really great at hosting.

Although she hasn’t released much new music over the past year, it is possible that Underwood will also be nominated for a CMA. Neither she nor Paisley is a stranger to the CMA acceptance speech. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Carrie has won five CMA awards while Paisley has taken home a total of 14 over the course of his career.

“[Carrie’s] awards include Female Vocalist of the Year from 2006 through 2008, Single of the Year in 2007 for her hit song, ‘Before He Cheats,’ and finally, the Horizon Award in 2006,” reports the Inquisitr. It sounds like Underwood is overdue for another honor, don’t you think?
