Epic GTA V Highway Pileup Confirms Los Santos Has The Worst Drivers

YouTube user Hoosker Don’t has provided an excellent palette cleanser before the start of the new work week with a Grand Theft Auto V video that will leave you happy that you don’t have to deal with the fictional Los Santos commute. That is unless you enjoy car crashes, explosions, screaming, and people running around on fire. If that’s the case, then the PlayStation and Xbox game is probably where you want to be.

Hoosker was casually riding his motorcycle along a GTA V highway when he ran into another car and crashed. He casually got up from the accident as if to look for a new ride. Little did he know that he had just started an absurd ballet of horrible driving from the game’s AI for nearly five straight minutes.

“I crashed my motorcycle playing GTAV a few days ago,” he wrote in a Reddit to share with the rest of the gaming community. “Nothing could prepare me for the chaos I caused.”

It may be difficult to pick a favorite ludicrous moment as you watch the video. Perhaps it is the random guy getting out of his car after colliding with a truck at 25 seconds and kicking another driver who is on fire only to catch on fire himself. It may be the other drivers’ complete disregard for the paramedics who arrive on scene only to get run over multiple times. Eventually, one of them just takes off.

Other highlights include another GTA V paramedic who steps out of his partially-burning ambulance only to immediately catch fire and die. The chart-toppers though are probably the drivers who smartly bugged out of the entire mess. At the 2:30 mark, you can witness people literally running for the hills. Meanwhile, there’s the red smart car that zooms across the road and down to the beach. You almost think they will drive straight into the ocean right before hanging a sharp right.

Most of the damaged cars despawned from the road by the end of the video allowing traffic to begin moving somewhat freely again. The pavement was still scarred with flames, however, with a couple of cars still laying around as little more than burnt husks.

GTA V is almost two-years-old now and is still creating some incredibly wacky moments in games for players to share even without the use of mods. What was your favorite moment? Sound off in the comments below.
