‘Teen Mom’ Star’s Dad Released From Prison: Tyler Baltierra Thrilled His Dad Can Make It To His Wedding
Just weeks before he ties the knot with Catelynn Lowell, Teen Mom OG star Tyler Baltierra has something else to be happy about — his father, Butch Baltierra, was just released from prison. Tyler hasn’t seen his dad in four years, and it was obvious that he was thrilled that he can now catch up on old times with him. But, more importantly, Tyler is thrilled that his dad was released in time enough to make his wedding.
According to Us Weekly, Tyler waited on his dad’s release at the parole office, and he shared the news with his one million Instagram followers.
“At the parole office waiting for my pops to get out,” the reality TV star wrote next to a selfie. “It’s been 4 years since I have seen him & words can’t describe how happy I am that he will make it to my wedding! He has missed way too many important days of my life… I’m happy to say that my wedding will NOT be one of those days! #ButchIsFree #PopsIsOut #HappySon”

On Friday, the 22-year-old Teen Mom OG star also shared a photo of his dad in a tuxedo, just hours after he was released. Tyler captioned the photo with the following text.
“Look at my pops all jazzed up! First time ever being in a tux… I gotta tell ya, I really missed having him around. It’s good to have him home #ButchIsFree #PopsIsOut.”

As reported by In Touch Weekly, the duo has had somewhat of a tumultuous relationship in the past, and back in April, the 53-year-old discussed the ups and downs of the relationship he has had with his son.
“I feel bad about some of the things I’ve done,” he said. “I’m happy for him [Tyler], all he has going on.”
According to court records, it appears that Butch received an early release date because his “maximum discharge date” was listed as July 25, 2026. In any case, it is good to see the two reunited so they can work on building a healthy relationship together.
