Ed Sheeran is a friend most of us would like to have, and if there is one person who would vouch for that, it is Justin Bieber.
Justin Bieber recently found out what a good mate he had in Ed Sheeran when the English pop-star decided to fill in for Bieber after he pulled out of Birmingham’s Fusion Fest,to be held in the last week of August, citing an “unforeseen issue” as the reason for his absence.
According to BBC, Bieber promised his fans that he will make up for his absence.
“To all my UK beliebers… due to an unforeseen issue I will be unable to perform at the Fusion Festival on August 28th. I support the Prince’s Trust wholeheartedly and I am deeply disappointed I won’t be able to perform. I look forward to the opportunity to give my UK beliebers a great show in the near future, and hope to honor my commitment to Trust at that time.”
And though Justin Bieber’s fans may find themselves feeling upset by the news, the ever-effervescent Ed Sheeran is more than ready to make up for the loss. For his fans, especially, it is a golden chance to see Ed Sheeran make another stop to his ongoing World Tour, which had officially wrapped its last performance in England with the singer playing to a packed Wembley audience back in July.
In a tweet he posted on Thursday, Ed Sheeran announced the news to the world.
“I know I said Wembley was my last UK show of this tour but my mate had a cancellation on his festival so I’m filling in last minute.”

Justin Bieber replied to Ed Sheeran’s tweet with heart-felt warmth.
“Thanks buddy. I owe u one. UK there is no one better to step up. I will see u all soon. Until then enjoy Ed. No one better. :)”

According to Entertainment Tonight, the probable reason for Justin Bieber’s absence could be his preoccupation with his new single, which he has been teasing on Twitter lately.
For Ed Sheeran, a singer who has been making waves everywhere, playing to another packed audience in his home country is not a chance he would want to let go, and no matter how much Justin Bieber’s fans might miss him, Ed Sheeran’s fans will not mind it one bit.
