Big Brother 17 spoilers reveal that John McGuire has awoken in the BB17 house. These Big Brother 17 spoilers could indicate some very exciting moments coming up this season. A report from fan site Big Brother Network indicates that Johnny Mac may finally start really playing the game due to Vanessa Rousso going after him on Thursday (August 6). Late Friday night (August 7), he starting laying groundwork for a plan of his own.
At the heart of the matter, John is forming an alliance with Shelli Poole and Steve Moses. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Shelli and Steve are the two Week 7 nominees for eviction. The trio had a long discussion about how if Shelli or Steve get to choose who to play in the Veto, that one of them needs to pick John. He wants to ensure that Vanessa becomes a nominee this week and has promised to use the Veto on one of the two current nominees.
This plan follows previous Big Brother 17 spoilers where John McGuire had started to fear that he wasn’t part of any major alliance. Indeed, as the BB17 house started choosing sides, John and Steve ended up being left in the middle. As with most situations in the Big Brother house, that could certainly shift in the future, but for now, John is on a bit of an island. Taking the game into his own hands (finally) is the best way to save himself.
The main reason that Shelli Poole will trust John is that she doesn’t want to go home, and with Steve Moses, he fears that he could get evicted if Vanessa Rousso were to somehow save Shelli. That would leave Steve as the primary target for the week, basically punching his ticket for eviction. The only way for either Shelli or Steve to avoid becoming the first member of the jury is to make sure that the target becomes Vanessa. Having John help manipulate how the Veto competition and Veto ceremony plays out will increase their odds to stay in the BB17 house.
These Big Brother 17 spoilers are certainly going to come as exciting news for fans of John McGuire. While he has been an extremely likeable personality in the house and on the live feeds so far, this might become the first time where he actually proactively takes part in deciding who gets voted out next.
