Kristin Chenoweth Brings Life To New ‘My Little Pony’ Character

Actress Kristin Chenoweth is no stranger to voicing animated characters. Her latest project, however, will have little girls everywhere waiting with bated breath to learn more about the new My Little Pony character, set to debut in a movie to be released in 2017.

Kristin Chenoweth has voiced the roles of Gabi from Rio 2, Ms. Noodle on Sesame Street, and Rosetta in Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, as well as Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, to name a few.

According to Time, Lionsgate and Hasbro will collaborate on the My Little Pony movie. This will mark the first animated feature film for Hasbro’s Allspark Pictures. Meghan McCarthy, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic writer and producer, will be writing the screenplay. Adding Kristin Chenoweth to this all-star team is surely a great sign that the movie will not disappoint.

The Wrap summarizes the film that Kristin Chenoweth is joining for the first time in the following synopsis.

“In the movie, a new dark force threatens Ponyville, and the Mane 6 — Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rarity — embark on an unforgettable journey beyond Equestria where they meet new friends and challenges on a quest to use the magic of friendship and save their home.”

Aside from voicing animated characters, Kristin Chenoweth has appeared on many movies and TV shows, including RV, Ugly Betty, Glee, and more.

In her personal life, Kristin Chenoweth is a Christian who does not believe in the hellfire and brimstone way of preaching, which she deems scary. Kristin Chenoweth believes that God is the epitome of love.

“I am a Christian and I don’t want there to be any confusion about what I believe or who I am. I don’t believe gay people are going to hell. I believe that judgment is left to the one upstairs and I believe Jesus is all about love. If I can live my life even just a smidgen the way God made his son for us as an example, I’m happy. I do not judge other people for what they believe, but for me, this is what works.”

My Little Pony fans will surely be pleased with the fresh pony voiced by the talented Kristin Chenoweth.
