Dog Beaten To Death: Killers Leave Note Bragging About It [Graphic Video]

A South Florida family is facing an unimaginable loss. Their beloved 7-year-old Pomeranian dog was mercilessly beaten to death by an unknown assailant. They have no idea what sick person or persons did such a heinous act. What adds another layer of evil-doing is whoever did this left a note on the dog’s body boasting of the horrific deed. According to Channel 7 News, the note stated the following.

“We beat it 2 death lol hahaha”

The heartbroken owner from Pembroke Pines, Verline Bartheleny, stated that they often let the dog out for a few minutes, but on Friday, the dog named Fox never returned when called. She had let him out from their apartment near the corner of Pines Boulevard and University Drive while cooking and went inside so the food wouldn’t burn. Unfortunately, Fox wasn’t found until Saturday by a neighbor who made the grisly discovery of Fox’s lifeless body curled into a ball with the mean note on top.

Bartheleny stated the following, according to News Locker.

“If someone could do that to a dog, just imagine what it could escalate to.”

The tearful owner wanted to find out exactly what happened to her beloved canine, so she took Fox’s body to be examined by a veterinarian, Dr. Ron Ridge. Unfortunately, his examination demonstrated that Fox suffered greatly at the hands of his torturers. The vet found that the Pomeranian suffered from a broken spine, punctured lungs, a broken jaw, cracked ribs, and a ruptured stomach. Ridge indicated that it was unlikely that the dog was hit by a car, as there probably would have been “skinned knees, skinned elbows, other minor injuries that we saw no signs of.”

Who would hurt an innocent animal? Anyone with such rage could harm humans as well, as many serial killers started by killing or torturing small animals. Fox’s family wants answers and, of course, is understandably in a lot of emotional pain. Bartheleny stated the following about her canine family member.

“Fox was like one of my kids… I’ve had him for a long time. It hurts.”

The police are investigating the case. Anyone with information on the case can remain anonymous and call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. There is a $3,000 reward posted.

Unfortunately, there are so many stories of animal abuse in the news lately. In another horrific act of cruelty, a man named Nicholas Garcia and another unnamed suspect allegedly lured a neighbor’s pit bull to pick up a firecracker.
