Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman’s Mexico Representative Makes A Surprising Statement About Donald Trump

Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman is one of the most powerful drug cartel leaders in modern times. With an estimated net worth of about $1 billion, he controls a significant amount of drugs that come into the United States. However, “El Chapo’s” life has not been so blissful lately, as America is actively seeking his recapture after his recent escape from jail through a mile-long tunnel.

“El Chapo” was arrested last year after months of following leads. The operation was said to be meticulous and there were no injuries, although Joaquin and his bodyguard were both armed. This is thanks to careful planning and the use of body-heat scanners, which were used to detect everyone’s location in the building as well as confirm that everybody was asleep during the raid. Also at the condo were his two twin daughters and his wife.

According to an ex-DEA who spoke to CNN, Guzman had an Ak-47 beside his bed.

According to his statement, “They used the element of surprise, and he did not have a chance to react and seize his weapon.”

Following “El Chapo’s” recent escape from prison, a Twitter account linked to him posted a few messages directed at Donald Trump. This was after Trump made an insensitive remark about Mexicans saying they only bring drugs and crime to America.

One of the posts from the Guzman account addressed at Trump read as follows, according to the Daily Mail.

“If you keep p****** me off I’m going to make you eat your words.”

The message prompted Donald Trump to beef up his security and also contacted the FBI about it. However, according to a report by Forbes, Guzman’s lawyer, Juan Pablo Badillo, just a few days ago denied Trump’s allegations through an injunction he filed against “El Chapo’s” extradition that also names Donald.

“To the loquacious bellicose Mr. Donald Thrump (sic), who fabricates alleged threats by El Chapo and says that he will bring him to the U.S. to kick his a**.”

The Trump reference was to a tweet he posted last month.

“Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
…Trump, however, would kick his a**!
3:29 AM – 13 Jul 2015”

Badillo got a provisional suspension of Joaquin’s extradition, even though the attorney general has approved his extradition to the United States. The provisional suspension can only be activated once Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman is recaptured.
