‘RHONY’ Kristen Taekman And ‘Shahs’ Reza Farahan Represent Bravo At Cable Event

Is Kristen Taekman really getting the boot from The Real Housewives of New York City? Her recent attendance at cable company event suggests not. On Thursday, Shahs of Sunset star Reza Farahan posted a photo of himself with Kristen at the Comcast Spotlight event in Portland, Oregon.

Reza, who has been on Shahs for four seasons now, wrote that he and Kristen represented Bravo at the event.

Kristen has filmed two seasons, Seasons 6 and 7, of The Real Housewives of New York City. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Brandi once explained on her podcast radio show that Kristen became a part of the show after she introduced her to executive producer Andy Cohen.

“I introduced Kristen to Andy. And then they found out that Josh and Heather [Thomson] knew each other. Kristen didn’t really know Heather that well. But Josh did so that was kind of their connection for bringing Kristen on the show.”

Brandi, who was on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a friend on Season 2 and a starring housewife for Seasons 3 through 5, also revealed that she gave Kristen some pointers on how to defend herself and fight back when it comes to drama with the other housewives, Bethenny Frankel in particular. The current season has shown Kristen and Bethenny have drama over Bethenny not inviting her to a party and then supposedly making fun of her nail polish line.

Brandi Glanville has actually appeared on The Real Housewives of New York City. On Season 6, Brandi, accompanied by Yolanda Foster, had lunch with Kristen Taekman and Carole Radziwill. Brandi told the other women that when they were in Las Vegas for Kristen’s bachelorette party, she had to stop Kristen, an avid Elvis Presley fan, from taking it too far with an Elvis impersonator.

There have been reports that Kristen won’t be returning for another season. On Thursday, the New York Daily News reported that Kristen is likely not to return. Yet as the Inquisitr previously reported, Andy Cohen has said before that decisions regarding casting for Real Housewives are not made “until the season is well over,” after the reunion show airs. He made that comment while talking about Brandi’s future with Real Housewives earlier this year.

There has also been speculation, courtesy of Brandi Glanville, that Kristen Taekman will be moving on to another show. On Tuesday, when a fan tweeted that he wishes that Kristen and Brandi would star on their own spin-off show, Brandi replied that it’s happening.
