Andy Murray Baby Bump Bliss Just 4 Months After Marrying Kim Sears: Tennis Player Dotes On ‘Dog Babies’ [Video]

Andy Murray and Kim Sears Murray will be welcoming a baby four months after they tied the knot. Andy, famed for his Wimbledon champion, didn’t tell his family about his new wife’s pregnancy until recently.

But both Murray and Kim are thrilled to announce that baby makes three, reported the Daily Mail.

Andy’s mother, Judy, had previously confessed that she longed to become a grandmother. She’s known as the star of Strictly Come Dancing.

Murray, 28, announced the baby bump news after Kim, 27, had her 12-week scan at the hospital. Married in April, Andy received encouragement from pal and fellow tennis player Andre Agassi, who told Murray that having a baby would enhance his marriage and tennis game.

Andy previously said that his dogs, who are Border terriers, were his children. When Murray played in tournaments away from home, he lovingly Skyped his dog “babies,” Rusty and Maggie May.

Kim and Andy met in 2005, broke up in 2009, and then returned to their romance. They announced their pregnancy almost at the same time as the due date of his coach Amelie Mauresmo. She was once the world’s number one tennis champion and has been candid about being gay. This will be her first baby.

As for marriage in general, Andy feels it’s made his world wonderful. Murray has shown his happiness in wedded bliss by tightly knotting his ring into his sneaker laces.

However, even marriage and a baby can’t guarantee winning on the tennis courts of the world, and Novak Djokovic recently slammed his way to victory over Andy in June, while Roger Federer also defeated Andy last month.

Next up for Murray, in addition to that baby, are the Masters event and U.S. Open.

Andy and Kim didn’t anticipate that life would change after they married. Murray, prior to his baby news, had revealed that he already felt married, reported Us Weekly.

“We’ve been together like nine-and-a-half years and we’ve lived together for six or seven years as well, so I don’t think a whole lot’s going to change,” predicted Andy. “I kind of feel like we have been married already in terms of the way we spend our lives together and live together. I think I will be more nervous about starting a family because that would be more life-changing, in a good way.”

For their wedding, Murray wore a classic tartan kilt. His bride chose a Jenny Packham gown for the Dunblane Cathedral ceremony and Cromlix House reception.

In addition to Murray’s baby announcement, summer 2015 has become the time for celebrity pregnancy news. Among those recently breaking out the baby bump celebration non-alcoholic champagne are Coco Austin, 36, and Ice-T, 57, as the Inquisitr reported, who announced her pregnancy after 14 years together.
