Teresa Giudice And Lisa Lampanelli Fired On ‘Celebrity Apprentice’

They’re fired. Teresa Giudice and Lisa Lampanelli were both eliminated from “The Celebrity Apprentice” last night.

Giudice and Lampanelli both acted as project managers this week as the contestants worked on a print ad campaign. Giudice and her team, consisting of Arsenio Hall and Aubrey O’Day, lost the challenge despite the fact that Giudice was “overlooking the whole thing.”

After Teresa Giudice’s elimination, Lampanelli ripped into her competitor, saying:

“You can’t fight someone who’s unarmed. That’s what the Real Housewives have seen all along. You just sit there, give her a rope and she hangs herself.”

After being fired, Giudice said:

“I don’t think Mr. Trump fired the right person, but I’m proud of myself that I made it this far. I wanted to prove to people that I’m not just a Housewife, that there’s more to me than that.”

Lampanelli was fired later in the show after she met with John Rich, who won “Celebrity Apprentice” last year, and Marlee Matlin, who finished as the runner-up. Lampanelli has been an emotional contestant on show and has frequently showed her anger and frustration with her teammates. After the meeting, Matlin and Rich told Trump that Lampanelli was too emotional to be a good leader.

But Lampanelli wasn’t offended by her dismissal. The comedian said:

“My experience here was really cool. Hey, I was fired by Mr. Trump in the most pleasant way possible. There was no fight, I have no headaches from it — it’s almost like I went out on this high note.”
