Woman Runs On Court During Lakers vs. Nuggets Game [VIDEO]

In what turned out to be a wild ending to the first half of the Denver Nuggets vs. the Los Angeles Lakers game on Sunday night, an apparently deranged fan found her way onto the court shortly before the buzzer sounded.

Savannah McMillan-Christmas, a 20-year-old from the Denver area, was promptly detained for trespassing, released and will appear in court Monday.

Yahoo! Sports Marc J. Spears was at the game and provided his Twitter followers with a few updates concerning the crazed fan.

As it turns out, McMillan-Christmas actually has an extensive past with the Denver Nuggets.

“Sources tell @YahooSports say they believe the girl that ran on floor in Denver was the same one that stalked Kenyon Martin in his DEN days” says Spears, adding that

“Sources also tell @YahooSports the woman was screaming: “Where is Kenyon?” to @denvernuggets bench before running on floor.”

The interesting part is that this ill-advised gesture had actually come a bit late as the former power forward is no longer with the Denver Nuggets, but now currently with the Los Angeles Clippers.

In a piece written by the Denver Post, they go on to explain the situation in further detail, saying that:

“Kurt Schwartzkopf, chief marketing officer at the Pepsi Center said the woman did not appear intoxicated, but was disoriented. He said the woman was picked up and taken home by her mother” adding,

“Jackson said it was off-duty Denver officers at the game who cited McMillan and escorted her out. TNT reported that the woman had been banned from Pepsi Center in the past for stalking a former Nugget player. Yahoo Sports reported that she stalked Kenyon Martin when he was with the team.”

Savannah McMillan-Christmas has not yet been reached for a comment regarding her actions.
