No Lie: It’s National Honesty Day

We here at The Inquisitr love odd holidays, and today’s time to celebrate another winner: It’s National Honesty Day! Seriously. We’re not lying about this.

National Honesty Day

National Honesty Day evidently falls on April 30 of every year. According to the folks at Holiday Insights, the day is meant to “encourage us to be honest.” Seems logical enough.

There’s no special celebration technique, then, aside from being honest. So can you handle the truth?

National Honesty Day is believed to have ties with Mr. Honesty himself, George Washington.

National Honesty Day Resources

You can find some National Honesty Day resources, including classroom lessons, activities for teachers, worksheets, and even National Honesty Day crossword puzzles, here.

Keep your calendars open, too, because it won’t be long before other such gems as National High Five Day, National Napping Day, National PB&J Day, and National Squirrel Appreciation Day roll around once again.
