Louis Tomlinson Gets Support From Mom As One Direction Tours On

Louis Tomlinson is starting to get into the whole idea that he’s going to be a father. He told Michael Strahan on Good Morning America that he was “buzzing” with excitement. Louis Tomlinson and the rest of One Direction were on the show to promote their single that dropped last week.

Louis wasn’t the only one buzzing about the baby news. Louis’s 42-year-old mom, Johannah, briefly showed her enthusiasm about the news as she exited a birthday party for daughter Lottie. Johannah has seven children, including 1-year-old twins. She split from Louis’ dad in 2010, when Louis was still a contestant on The X Factor. She married Daniel Deakin just last year in the presence of Louis and his One Direction bandmates.

Tomlinson is set to become a dad to the baby currently developing inside the belly of stylist Briana Jungwirth. The two met in May while Tomlinson and One Direction partied in Los Angeles. Jungwirth has stayed relatively low key since the announcement, but it’s been impossible for Louis Tomlinson to stay totally silent about the matter.

The news comes just as One Direction hit fans with a surprise single from their fifth album. The unannounced single came out while most people in the United States were still sleeping, in the early hours of the morning on July 31. Louis and 1D released a video via Twitter to let fans know it was out. Then just yesterday morning, they performed it live on Good Morning America. “Drag Me Down” is already a top single in many countries. One Direction will continue to perform the song as they head to further stops on their On The Road Again Tour 2015.

During the Good Morning America interview, the band seemed overwhelmed with the response from fans. Louis Tomlinson seemed happy enough with the new single and the upcoming new baby. Zayn Malik was noticeably absent, but the band did not dwell on their missing member for long.

The On The Road Again Tour 2015 is promoting the band’s fourth album. But with surprise singles like “Drag Me Down” dropping out of the sky, it may very quickly shift to a combined tour promoting their fourth and upcoming fifth album together.

Louis and the band might record their entire fifth album while still on tour. I’m sure the hard-working group is looking forward to taking a break after all the show dates are over. Louis Tomlinson will have time to ponder his impending fatherhood, Zayn Malik will have time to ponder whether he made the right decision, and One Direction can get some rest before their next project.
